Mobile MRI scanning
One of the most exciting developments in modern diagnostics is the introduction of a new fleet of mobile MRI units which provide patients with an exceptional amount of comfort and space.
Purpose-built to lock into and support the entire Nuffield Diagnostics offering, they are patient-friendly and can be easily used – for example - by older people, or those with mobility problems.
When patients arrive for an MRI they are often anxious about the procedure. So, if their appointment is on a mobile unit, the last thing they want to do is sit in cramped, confined conditions.
At Nuffield Diagnostics, they don’t have to. Walking into our mobile MRI incorporates easy access, changing facilities and a waiting area.
The new mobiles also offer relatively low-cost MRI scanning - which means that MRI becomes affordable to a self-pay patient.
