All Nuffield Hospitals are linked by a nationwide Pathology IT platform, overlaying common protocols and procedures and producing standardised reports.

Nuffield Diagnostics' Pathology has developed some innovative Point of Care Testing (POCT) solutions for hospitals, clinics and health screening locations. This includes equipment installation, training and ongoing competency assessment for operators. The equipment is linked electronically to a host laboratory to facilitate online support and authorisation by trained laboratory personnel. The 'POCT in a box ' solution is ideal for GP surgeries and health clinics who want to offer enhanced services to patients.
