Mobile MRI scanning
One of the most exciting developments in modern diagnostics is the introduction of a new fleet of mobile MRI units which provide patients with an exceptional amount of comfort and space.
These are a new generation of patient-friendly mobile units – brand new to the UK.
MRI is a pain-free procedure which involves lying still while the images are captured but some patients are understandably anxious about the procedure. So, if their appointment is on a mobile unit, the last thing they want to do is sit in cramped, confined conditions.
At Nuffield Diagnostics, you don't have to. Most of our mobile MRIs incorporates easy access, changing facilities and a waiting area.
The new mobiles also offer relatively low-cost MRI scanning - which means that MRI becomes affordable to a self-pay patient.
