We have been working hard to make sure that our services are easy-to-use and of the highest possible standard and, in some cases, unique to us.

A huge investment in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System), RIS (Radiology Information System), and CR (Computed Radiography) systems means that no matter what type of image – or where in the country it is captured – it can be instantly accessed and interpreted by one of our expert Radiologists.

No matter where a blood sample is collected, our laboratories can analyse and report back within the same day. And all our Pathology staff are linked by a nationwide IT network using common protocols and producing standardised reports.

A perfect example of our patient-centred approach can be found in our mobile MRI fleet.

When patients arrive for an MRI they are often anxious about the procedure. So, if their appointment is on a mobile unit, the last thing they want to do is sit in cramped, confined conditions. With Nuffield Diagnostics, they don’t have to. Walking into our mobile MRI incorporates easy access, changing facilities and a waiting area. This reflects the typical seamless service to be expected in a static facility at a Nuffield hospital.
